Study visit from Burgårdens Utbildningscentrum, Gothenburg, Sweden

– Event date : 2014-03-24

Chitra Lane recently hosted trainee teachers and educators from the above Swedish school.  They had a successful few days observing and understanding the work done at our School as part of their wider external study program.  After their brief visit, this is what they had to say:

"Where should one go to find the special people who need "special" attention in Sri Lanka?  We asked around in the rural area where we are staying in the Southern Province and no one even knew about "special people".  The world wide web had the answer.  The Chitra Lane School was the first thing that came up on Google.  It was "special" in the first email........Arriving here and being greeted by the students with huge smiles on their faces and their passionate teachers was an incredible experience.  We loved every minute here and being able to participate in the work.  Thank you for your kindness and we'll be back." - Teachers and students from Burgårdens Utbildningscentrum, Gothenburg, Sweden.
